Federal, State, and Local regulations

ComplianceNavigating today’s regulatory environment can be daunting. There are many facets to compliance. No one will tell you what Federal, State, and Local regulations you must comply with but ultimately the responsibility falls on the shoulders of you, the owner.

Do you know what the compliance expectations are from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC)?

What about state and local regulations that impact your business?

Fortunately, the Association has your back! Supported by world-class compliance experts, PGAMA can help you sort out the compliance challenges facing your business.

networking crab feast pgamaPGAMA offers many programs during the year, all of which provide networking opportunities to one degree or another. However, there are a number of events that focus on networking. During the course of a typical year, PGAMA presents a number of Cocktails and Connections, no agenda, no speaker. These sponsored events are held in various locales throughout the territory of our association.Cocktails and Connections are FREE to members and invited guests and gives you an opportunity to mingle with many key management and sales executives as well as company owners.

Additionally, PGAMA hosts two Golf Outings a year, one in Maryland and one in Virginia, an Annual Crab Feast and the signature event of the year, Excellence In Print.

What We Do: Support Students and Educators

PGAMA Teachers and StudentsSupport of secondary programs is crucial to the success of the Associations’ workforce development efforts. To keep these programs strong, PGAMA employs various strategies including participation in program advisory committees, providing professional development for educators so that they can deliver the latest industry developments to their students, and the coordination of the SkillsUSA Graphic Communications competition.

PGAMA encourages all secondary programs to achieve and maintain Print[ED] accreditation ensuring that qualified instructors have the resources to offer a sustainable program. Additionally, the PGAMA Education Trust provides scholarship opportunities for students.
